Title: Energy Scales in Particle Physics and Cosmology

Abstract:
The standard models of particle physics and cosmology assume that the
fundamental physical constants of the speed of light and the Planck
constant have not changed throughout the evolution of the universe. I
will review these models and explain why understanding the energy
scales becomes a fundamental task. I will discuss possible relations
between the Planck scale, the dark energy scale and masses of
elementary particles including the Higgs boson, the neutrino and the
photon.
