Title: Bayesian Time-Resolved Spectroscopy of GRB Pulses: alpha-Intensity Correlation

Abstract: After a brief introduction to Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) and their emission mechanisms, the focus will be set on the application of the Bayesian method. The method is used to fit the time-resolved spectra of a sample of GRBs, made of single pulse bursts detected by the Fermi/Gamma-ray Burst Monitor. The obtained parameter distributions, spectral evolution properties, and parameter correlations are presented. It is found that there is a correlation between the low-energy power-law index and the energy flux. This correlation is further interpreted in the context of the photospheric emission model.
